The magnetic base case allows for easy positioning on metal surfaces and acts as a stand on non-magnetic surfaces.

It has an adjustable knob on the side that allows for easy tuning of the timer, which can count either up or down. There is a button on the side that provides users with a play/pause function. For extra convenience, it has a memory function to remember past timers that were set. The alarm that is built in has a gradual sound that ascends during the duration of the alarm.
